Goals for Today:
Zach: today i was working with ethan to make the code way more consistent than it was.
Ethan: Today I was working with zach to improve the reliability of the robot and to fix some bugs
James: Today I want to finish the all the sections of the bridge. I also want to help the robot by seeing is I can troubleshoot the gyro sensor issue.
Accomplished:
Zach: Today i spent my time with ethan doing multiple things; one reverting the code to a previous version where it consistently worked. two we strengthened the robots strafe wheel and made the strafe sideways way more straight fast and reliable. we did this by swapping the light sensor on the robot with one that didn't get invalid readings
Ethan: Today I spent my time with Zach fixing multiple issues and bugs, first we removed the part where the block is added to the group under the robot because it was causing other unfixable problems. We also discovered in testing the strafe that setting the Motors to MotorHold saps so much power that the robot is unable to strafe quickly so we fixed that and then discovered that the Lightsensor was missing lines so that is now our goal to fix for next meeting.
James: Today I finished all four sections of the bridge. I also tried to fix the problem of the gyro sensor but I’ve had no luck.
To Do for Next Meeting:
Zach: Next meeting i want to start preparing for our event which is in 13 days and making little changes to the code if necessary. i also want to try to fix the gyro bugs we are having with ethan and tommy.
Ethan: Finish fixing the Light sensor / code depending what the issue is.
James: Next meeting I want to finish the foam parts for the bridge w/ the arch and I want to start on the bridge w/out the arch.
