Sharing is an important part of doing a project, especially in VEX IQ. It's important because there is no point in doing research, talking to experts and creating a presentation if nobody knows about it. Our team, The PiThons have participated in a lot of these "sharing" activities that range from talking to their class to posting photos on our Instagram account.
Team Website
|
Our website has information about our project and robot. Within the project, we have information such as defined words, frequently asked questions, experts, sharing, overviews, and more. Within the robot, we have information such as photos, strategy, and more.
We got positive feedback from many people about our website! We also got some suggestions on how we could make it more appealing and more informative. |
Team Email
|
We used our team email as a way to contact experts. We also put it on our website so that anyone can contact us. We got feedback from many people.
The experts that emailed us were definitely very helpful and beneficial to our project. Also, people from the community emailed us with feedback about our project that they had seen on our website |
Presentation
|
Members of our team shared to students at Rolling Meadows Public School for a couple of reasons. One was to spread our knowledge of the topic to others. Another was to get feedback from the public about our project.
The students our team presented to gave us wonderful feedback about our project. They said we had a lot of in depth information and it was organized very well. They suggested to have more visual examples. |
Twitter
|
This was used for quick posts to let the public know our “status update”. So there was not a lot of information that we learned but more just to get our name out.
Many people saw our account and gave us positive feedback. We sometimes got questions from our viewers that we were very happy to answer! |
Google Plus
|
We used our google plus account like an social media account. We told our followers and friends what we were up to, what competitions were going to, and more.
We were able to find other teams on google plus. This helped us see what other teams were doing as well. It was also just beneficial in the way that we got a public viewing who gave us feedback and positive encouragement. |
Facebook
|
As with the other social media sites that we created, it was to talk to the public. Also one our facebook page in the “about” section, we say our email, website link, and our other accounts.
Like said before, the public is very positive and gives us feedback that we used to make our project better. In addition, we answered questions of people that wanted to know more. |
